“Written and produced by Emily, Screenshot is a feminist chamber opera which looks at image-based sexual abuse alongside themes of sexualisation, objectification and post-trauma healing. It strives to create a further space in the Classical music and Opera industry which prioritises education, empathy and healing.”

My goal was to convey vulnerability and the feeling of a screenshot being taken. To achieve this, I used risograph printing as it can create a grain texture without compromising the quality of the image. I also used contrasting paper to the blue and turquoise ink to create a standout contrast
